Ripe dark fruits with silky soft tannins and toasty cedar notes. This is a rich, generous, yet beautifully balanced wine. It is ideal for drinking now.
Red meat or spicy tomato pasta dishes.
Named in honour of George Wyndham, who planted Australia’s first commercial shiraz vineyard in 1830 at Dalwood in the Hunter Valley. Originally Dalwood Wines until 1970, then Wyndham Estate (’70–2015), the wines were renamed George Wyndham in ’15. The Bin range, led by Bin 555 Shiraz, often represents good value for money.
